Environment entirely made using 3D scans and rendered in unreal engine 5. I tried to achieve a movie like render, using only render settings inside unreal and post editing for transitions.
3D scans created in reality capture, level design in blender, rendering in UE5 with HDRI background (freight station by Sergej Majboroda on poly haven).
I get inspiration from these story rich games such as metro 2033 and following, this war of mine, S.T.A.L.K.E.R... and sadly, recent history with so much human damage.
