Photogrammetry of an authentic french windmill, constructed in 1848 and located in the town of Bléré.
Even if its main function was to grind grain, the miller was also a wine-growner (the area is very famous for it). This is why the windmill was a mill but also a cellar (moulin cavier, in french).
The tourist and cultural promotion of the windmill is run by Les Amis du Moulin des Aigremonts Association.
It’s still functionnal ! Open for visit, more information at : https://www.moulindesaigremonts.com
About the scan itself :
I only took pictures from ground, more than 900 actually and without tripod. No drone used. Weather was REALLY cold so I was glad the result was good !
16k Textures included are : diffuse + normal map. I had to reduce quality to fit the max upload size but you can contact me to get the originals if you want to.
The top of the stone construction, I made it by myself since I could not get pictures of it.
